Hubert H. Stephenson, Jr.

Hubert H. Stephenson, Jr. (Steve) was born  November 19, 1951 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas and died December 2, 2013 at his home in Little Rock, Arkansas at the age of 62.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Lula and Hubert H. Stephenson, Sr.  He is survived by his daughter, Channa Stephenson, of San Diego, California.  Two sisters, Nancy Tucker of North Little Rock and Cheryl Stephenson of Lonoke.  Two nephews, Brent Tucker and Greg Tucker (Laura) and a niece, Stacey House (Tony) all of North Little Rock.  He worked for Union Pacific Railroad where he retired after 30 years of service.

A memorial service will be held Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at 6:00 p.m. at Arkansas Funder Care, 2620 West Main Street, Jacksonville, Arkansas.    In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Pulaski County Human Society.

    So sorry for your loss. Knew Steve from SHHS but saw him in passing a few times since and he was always friendly and up lifting. This was really a shock, will remember your family in prayer.

    I went through school with Steve and had lots of laughs together. I remember him in the 5th grade clowning around and playing chase at recess! His bottom lip was always chapped…
    I haven’t seen him in a long time, but I don’t know who that old woman in the mirror is either. I do know our time here is short…later, friend.
